HOPE
VI
PHASE 3
The old Lord Stirling School, an anchor of the neighborhood both
architecturally and instititutionally, will get a second life
as
a Section 202 funded senior-disabled housing complex. Just two
blocks from the Phase 2 site, the school has been renovated and
converted
into
at least 48 one-bedroom units. Income qualifications
are the same as for public housing and the units are restricted
to households whose members are 62 and over (or whose head of household
is disabled). This site was completed in 2007 and is currently
occupied.
