3rd Annual National
Night Out Celebration
In participation of the National Night Out scheduled
for Tuesday, August 7, 2007 Stirlingside, a Community Builders
Inc. development, will host its Third Annual Night Out Event.
National Night Out was created to promote police-community partnerships,
and members of the community are invited to join New Brunswick
Mayor Jim Cahill, McGruff the crime dog and representatives of
the New Brunswick Police Department at Riverside Community Building,
15 John Street, New Brunswick, NJ from 5:00pm to 9:00 p.m.
Food, music and entertainment will be offered as well as information
about new community developments and initiatives, including soon
to be completed Lord Stirling Apartments.
Lord Stirling Apartments at Stirlingside is a turn-of-the-century
school house converted into 48 spacious and well-appointed one
and two bedroom apartment homes designed for residents aged 62
and over, and is the final phase of the New Brunswick HOPE VI.
Applications are now being accepted with occupancy scheduled for
Fall 2007. A mixed income housing community, rental subsidies are
available for qualified applicants.
Working in collaboration with residents, community organizations,
the business community, government agencies and foundations, Community
Builders Inc. transforms distressed housing projects into anchors
for revitalization and becomes a long-term, active stakeholder
in those communities.
